This is an additional mission pack featuring new enemies that do not appear in the base game.
Contains over 10 advanced missions designed for elite soldiers. That long-awaited creepy-crawly enemy that EDF enlistees were waiting for is finally here. These missions are pretty tough, so be sure you've built enough confidence and have completed missions in the base game on a high difficulty level before attempting. Also contains new weapons.

In 2020, Dark Tyrant and 6 Motherships began an attack on the Earth.
The Motherships all attacked at once, and tore the planet into pieces.
After an intense battle, the Brothers & Sisters, led by the Commander, successfully defeated Dark Tyrant.
The planet was restored, but the EDF's work was not done yet. They continued battling the invading forces in each of their native lands.

But then...

Something happened.
In 2021, another disaster occurred. A distress call was received from the UK. Many never-before-seen enemies emerged.
And once again, the planet was torn apart...

Aya, the calm and composed swordswoman from the zombie-infested world of "OneeChanbara," has joined the fight, wearing not only her trademark 10-gallon hat and bikini, but also with a katana as her weapon. Usually focused on exterminating zombies, she has decided to break from her normal routine and use her sword-wielding expertise to help save the Earth. She may appear less "herself" here compared to her appearance in the "round" world, but that's to be expected in a world without curves. For her SP Move, she unleashes her powerful "Xtasy Combination," which feels as good as the name suggests when it hits.

Saki, the crazed swordswoman from the zombie-infested world of "OneeChanbara," is here and ready to fight using her super long katana and acrobatics. Like her big sister Aya, she usually spends her time exterminating zombies, but she couldn't sit idly by while the Earth was in pieces. She may appear less "herself" here compared to her appearance in the "round" world, but that's to be expected in a world without curves. For her SP Move, she uses her family's Baneful blood to temporarily boost her attack power and become invincible. Now, THIS is truly Baneful power.

The Colonists who invaded the planet in "Earth Defense Force 5" have rushed to join the fight. Why would a previous enemy join the EDF in defending the Earth? The answer to that question will be clear when you reach the end of this game, so we wouldn't want to put any spoilers here. Let's just say that yesterday's foes are today's friends. And they look just like us humans! (Ribbit.) Anyway, let's put aside our differences for now and fight together!

The Cosmonauts who had invaded the planet in "Earth Defense Force 5" have rushed to join the fight. Why would a previous enemy join the EDF in defending the Earth? The answer to that question will be clear when you reach the end of this game, so we wouldn't want to put any spoilers here. Let's just say that yesterday's foes are today's friends. They don't bear the slightest resemblance to us humans, but there's nothing more beautiful than mutual understanding. Isn't it heartwarming when former enemies join forces to defeat a shared threat?

This hostess was chosen to join the fight from "Dream Club," a club for adults that can only be joined by those with a pure heart. The rambunctious Setsu (or "Setsu-Chan") is known as the "fierce tiger" of Dream Club. She boiled with rage on hearing the planet is in trouble, and jumped at the opportunity to help. For her Ability, she sets up a bear-shaped power spot which further amplifies her fighting spirit. For her SP Move, she freezes the enemies by making a brisk snow fall from above. Her unlikely weapon is a portable railgun that needs to be charged to fire. Though it may not seem so at first, this is truly pure power to the extreme.

This hostess was chosen to join the fight from "Dream Club," a club for adults that can only be joined by those with a pure heart. The most aloof hostess at Dream Club, Mian appears to have reluctantly agreed to help defend the Earth. Always depending on others, for her Ability she sets down an automated laser turret, and for her SP Move she requests an explosive shooting star attack. For her weapon, she uses a devastating laser cannon that appeared in the EDF: IR world. The longer you fire it, the stronger it gets, and at maximum output it can deliver some ruinous results. Now, THIS is pure power.

This hostess was chosen to join the fight from "Dream Club," a club for adults that can only be joined by those with a pure heart. ILI, an autonomous android who for some reason works at Dream Club, apparently wants to prove her true potential by saving the Earth. Despite being an android, performance-wise she is comparable to a human. With her innocent heart (AI?), she would never shoot beams from her eyes, or do anything of that sort. But hoping to find batteries, she was coaxed into joining the EDF and modded into a tool of destruction: for her Ability she can float in midair, and for her SP Move she causes javelins to rain from the sky. Although she really only needs manganese batteries to function, for her weapon she's been equipped with a massive automatic shotgun paired with a reflector shield. Now, THIS is pure power.

There was once a soldier who defended the Earth valiantly against the Invaders until he was defeated. Half of his body was covered in lethal acid before he spoke his final word. Who was this word meant for? His family? A friend? Or perhaps, a lover? No...he must have been speaking to the soldiers entrusted with the fate of the Earth. But this was in another world, on a round planet. In this square Earth, he has returned to the battlefield, the majority of his body now mechanized using the latest technology. And in his hand? An Acid Gun...
